This training will ensure staff have sufficient knowledge to work safely with patients on PEG Feeding and effectively care for those who have one.

Learning Outcome

On completion of the training staff will be:

Be able to demonstrate improved awareness of PEG feeding.

Understand the common causes of requiring a PEG feeding.

Be able to confidently handle the PEG machines and associated tubing and administering feed.
